FM22 LaLiga Wonderkids

The Spanish LaLiga has been considered as the best football league for years now as the big Spanish clubs dominate European football. Clubs like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona won multiple Champions Leagues in the 21st century and it says enough that the Europa League has been won by a Spanish club in seven of the last ten editions.

In terms of Wonderkids the Spanish LaLiga has much to offer. From the youngsters in the famous La Masia youth academy at Barcelona or the youngsters playing for clubs like Sevilla, Valencia and Villarreal.

On this list we have tried to find the best wonderkids from LaLiga, using our very own FMInside FM22 Player Database. To make the list easy to navigate we have divided the list into four sections: Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards. 

Before we kick-off with the list we also want to point towards our downloadable FM22 Wonderkids Shortlist to use directly in your game. The players on this list are included as well as hundreds of others!

FM22 LaLiga Wonderkids

The selection on our list has been created with the following criteria:

• League = LaLiga
• Age = Max 21
• Potential = At least 79.4 or higher

For the potential we use our own FMInside Rating instead of the original ratings from Football Manager.

Goalkeepers

There three very talented goalkeepers in LaLiga and they should all be on your shortlist. Best thing about players in Spain is that they have a limited fee in their contracts. This way you know for sure you will never be drawn into long transfer negotiations. One of the players - Lucas Canizares - has also featured in our ">Wonderkids video and is consdered as one of the leading wonderkid goalkeepers in FM22.

Defenders

On the defenders list we see a lot of the usual suspects we also saw in FM21. Most of them have been given a current ability boost but potential wise they have all stayed pretty much on the same level. Real Madrid defender Davide De la Vibora also featured in our best ">Wonderkid Left Backs video and is one of the leading youngsters on that position.

Midfielders

This biggest list of wonderkids are the midfielders and wingers. There are two players with a potential over 90 and that are Barcelona winger Yusuf Demir and Real midfielder Edouardo Camavinga. It is also impossible to look past Pedri, who has a fixed 88 potential. We would have thought he would be one of the -10 wonderkids in FM22! The 17-year-old Japanese midfielder Takuhiro Nakai featured in our ">best MC Wonderkid video and is one to add on your shortlist in every save!

Forwards

There are six wonderkids in the Spanish LaLiga who are considered as forwards, though Ansu Fati and Joao Felix could also be seen as midfielders. Interesting players are Andri Lucas Guðjohnsen and Jon Karrikaburu. Guðjohnsen is the son of former Chelsea icon Eidur Guðjohnsen and he has played for several Spanish clubs, including Espanyol and Madrid's arch rivals Barcelona. It will be interesting to see if he can match his father in terms of performances during his career. Karrikaburu is also one to watch in LaLiga. This 18-year-old Basque striker plays for Real Sociedad and looks to be an ideal player for a quick counter tactic.
