FM22 Bundesliga Wonderkids

The German Bundesliga is one of the most spectacular competitions in Europe. Although the league is dominated by FC Bayern, the teams below can actually all beat each other. With full stadiums and attacking football, the Bundesliga is in many cases a true joy to watch.

A few years ago, the clubs in the German league made a massive change. From a competition with mostly German and experienced players, clubs have focused much more on developing talent, often through their own youth academy. This has made the Bundesliga a league filled with talent from all over the world. Clubs like Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig show that young players are able to perform at a very high level and it says enough that a lot of these players develop into world-class players who play for the biggest clubs in the world.

For this list we have tried to find the best wonderkids from the Bundesliga, using our very own FMInside FM22 Player Database. To make the list easy to navigate we have divided the list into four sections: Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards. 

Before we kick-off with the list we also want to point towards our downloadable FM22 Wonderkids Shortlist to use directly in your game. The players on this list are included as well as hundreds of others!

FM22 Bundesliga Wonderkids

The selection on our list has been created with the following criteria:

• League = Bundesliga
• Age = Max 21
• Potential = At least 79.4 or higher

For the potential we use our own FMInside Rating instead of the original ratings from Football Manager.

Defenders

The best known from the list of defenders is of course Alphonso Davies. The Canadian has quickly developed and is now seen as one of the best left-backs in the world. Former FM21 wonder kid Josko Gvardiol now also plays in the Bundesliga, he signed for the talent factory RB Leipzig. We also see a player in this list that we already showed in our ">Best Wonderkids Right Back video: Jeremie Frimpong.

Midfielders

On the list of midfielders we see three mega talents. Jude Bellingham was of course already a top talent, but he has become even better in FM22. Together with Jamal Musiala and newcomer Ilaix Moriba, they are considered the greatest talents of the Bundesliga. Moriba in particular is a special player: he is one of the two -10 wonderkids in the Bundesliga.

Forwards

Only three Bundesliga strikers can be considered as Wonderkids. But two of them are also among the greatest talents in the world! Erling Haaland doesn't need an introduction of course and Yousssoufa Moukouko is also a well-known among football connoisseurs. He is also one of the two -10 talents in the Bundesliga. They will be joined by Gabriel Vidovic, who has been part of Bayern's first team since this summer.
