A list with the best Premier League wonderkids in Football Manager 2022.
The English Premier League is considered as the best and richest competition in the world. The league sees some of the best players in the world due to the fact clubs are able to spend very large transfer fees. Many of the clubs have foreign owners who all have the ambition to become the biggest club of the league.
Luckily there is still room for developing young players through the youth academy. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp proves that young talent could also shine in the Premier League and several other clubs follow their example. Next to that clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City invest millions in their own youth academy picking up talents from across the world.
On this list we have tried to find the best wonderkids from the Premier League, using our very own FMInside FM22 Player Database. To make the list easy to navigate we have divided the list into four sections: Goalkeepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Forwards.
Before we kick-off with the list we also want to point towards our downloadable FM22 Wonderkids Shortlist to use directly in your game. The players on this list are included as well as hundreds of others!
FM22 Premier League Wonderkids

For the potential we use our own FMInside Rating instead of the original ratings from Football Manager.
Goalkeepers
There aren't that many wonderkid goalkeepers in the world and in the English Premier League it is also difficult to find that many talented goalkeepers. The only real talent is Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier.

Some very interesting players have made the FM22 Wonderkids list in the Premier League. There are three 16-year-olds added to the list, with Alfie Devine probably being one of the best youngsters in the new game. Young Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino has also made a jump in terms of ability and potential and we are happy to see that a club like Arsenal having some awesome talents in FM22. Forwards
Not too many new names on the Striker list compared to FM21, though Jamie Donly from Tottenham Hotspur is one to keep an eye out for. Great youngster with massive potential. The other players in the forwards list are known wonderkids. Compared to FM21 they have improved their current ability but their potential remains the same and is either Dynamic or set between 80 and 85'ish.
