Training is an area that could look really difficult to manage in Football Manager. It is something that needs attention from you as a manager and that could be time consuming. Because this area needs managing a lot of people decide to leave it to their assistant managers.
However, this is probably the wrong thing and the worst thing you could do as the assistant does some crazy stuff and he doesn't prepare your team very well ahead of your matches and in between matches.
