Wonderkid Right Wingers

The position of the right winger has evolved in the 21st century. Where the right wing attacker initially had the chalk of the sidelines on their boots and was their main focus to deliver a cross, the right winger has now become a mix of a striker and an attacking midfielder. Right wing attackers used to be invariably right-footed, but now you see more and more left-footed players who love to cut inside and shoot on goal.

Players like Arjen Robben changed the game for left & right wingers dramatically and these days you see that players act more and more like strikers rather than traditional wingers. Take Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah as examples. Both excel on the right wing, but aren't 'real' wingers.

The position has also evolved enormously in Football Manager. You no longer have a single role for a winger but you have various roles, ranging from an Inside Forward to a Playmaker or even a specialist role like a Raumdeuter.

On this list you see the best right wingers with a maximum age of 21. They can all play as an AMR, though some of them need some development to become natural on the position.

Because there are so many players for this list we have decided to divide the list into three seperate sections. First you have the 'Elite Right Wingers'. These players have a high Current Ability and a Potential Ability of at least 85. Then we move over to the 'Classy Right Wingers'. They have a lower current ability and a maximum potential ability of 80.

Last on the list you have the 'Good Right Wingers'. These are the players who have a good potential but also the players who have a dynamic potential. This makes it difficult to really judge them on their potential as this will vary with every save you start.
