The English Premier League is considered as the best competition in the world. Due to the massive television contracts in this league, most clubs are able to spend large transfer fees. Many clubs have foreign owners, who all have the ambition to become a challenger for the title.

These ambitions are in many cases accompanied by the desire to develop young talents, as they hope that these can become world-class players. For that reason, the Premier League is nowadays a competition with both top players and great young talents.

A league like the Premier League must also have many young and talented players. We have used our very own FMInside Player database to find the best young players in this league.

The selection on our list has been created with the following criteria:

League = Premier League
Age = Max 21
Potential = At least 79.4 or higher

For the potential we use our own FMInside Rating instead of the original ratings from Football Manager.

Defenders

The list of defenders is impressive in the Premier League. However, we can't see any 'new' players. Meaning that all these players already play for their first team in the league and are well-known to the public. Too bad there aren't any 16-year-olds with massive potential.

Midfielders

The list of midfielders is also long and has some well-known players on it. Good to see that FM20 wonderkid Alexis Mac Allister has make the jump to Europe. Interesting player on this list is Manchester United talent Hannibal. He is only 17-years-old and a vert talented attacking midfielder. Only thing we hope for you is that United are prepared to sell him for a fair price.

Attackers

On the attackers list we see some interesting players. What to think of 17-year-old Liam Delap, who made his senior debut for Manchester City this season. He is a good talent, who has the potential to be a class striker. Other youngster to watch is Layton Stewart. The Liverpudlian is also 17 and already has some impressive attributes, including Dribbling, First Touch and Technique.
