FM24 - Best English Wonderkids

England still is one of the most thriving football nations in the world. The Premier League is undoubtedly the best football league in the world and the clubs have been dominating European football for quite some time. In recent years the clubs in the Premier League have also been focussing on developing talent, rather then spending money on new foreign players. Whilst they still spend the most money on transfers, the number of young English players has been growing and growing every year.

In Football Manager the English leagues and database are the best covered ones. Almost every club has at least one dedicated researcher and that gives England the best represented database in the game. When we look at FM24, the number of wonderkids has grown compared to FM23 with a total of 37 youngsters making the cut! One major problem with English wonderkids is their expected selling price. Most of them have long-term and well-paid contracts at big clubs and these clubs will not accept any fees below 80 million. That makes signing English wonderkids one of the more tougher assignments in the game.

We have used our own FM24 Player Database and have found 37 English wonderkids.

Criteria to make the list are:

• Players are 21-years-old or younger
• Players have a Potential Ability of at least 150 or -8
• English nationality
