FM24 - Wonderkids to watch at the Africa Cup of Nations

In the first month of 2024, the Africa Cup of Nations is played in Ivory Coast. The current champions Senegal hope to win back-to-back titles, while other nations such as Egypt, Nigeria and hosts Ivory Coast are eyeing victory to claim the title! Clubs from all over the world have relinquished their players to the 24 participating countries.

The Africa Cup is one of the most fun international tournaments to watch, though the modern day media and social has taken away a lot of the romance of the tournament. Twenty years ago you could still discover new players and real gems, whereas most players nowadays are already known to the larger public, especially us Football Manager fans! Nevertheless the Africa Cup is a tournament full of spectacle and could easily be one of the most entertaining tournaments in the world!

Obviously the Africa Cup of Nations is also playable in Football Manager 2024 and if you are into longer saves and international management, chances are you have participated in the tournament at least once or even won it.

One major disadvantage for Football Manager is the lacking of playable nations and leagues as only South Africa is a playable nation in the standard database of FM24.
