This is the shortlist with the best young central midfielders in Football Manager 2024. Updated for FM24.3.

The central midfielder has one of the most crucial positions on the field. In the past, most midfielders were all-round and had to attack as well as defend. Nowadays, midfielders are more often real specialists and play in a specific role. This is how modern football has really acquired defensive midfielders, pure playmakers and types of midfielders who love to attack the enemy's territory and score a goal.

On this list you will find the best central midfielders in Football Manager from 2024 with a maximum age of 21. All players can play in the MC and with the right training and guidance will be able to develop into very good players. For this position we only filter on World Class and Good players as the number of 'Decent' midfielders surpasses the 250 mark, making the list way to long for you to properly scan and use.
