This is a list with players that are on an expiring contract and under the age of 24.

This list of players shows young players in Football Manager 2021 with expiring contracts. These players are at most 24-years-old and have a good potential. We have divided the list into goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and attackers which makes it easier to spot that one player that could be interesting for you.

All the lists have been created using the FMInside FM21 Playerdatabase.

Goalkeepers

Six goalkeepers we have found in our database. Needless to say is that Gianluigi Donnarumma is by far the best player on the list. An amazing player and he has an expiring contract at AC Milan. Another interesting player for the future could be Manuel Gasparini from Udinese. He is 18-years-old and currently plays in Udinese's U20's.

Defenders

Again six players to watch out for in Football Manager 2021. Best pick is without a doubt Eric Garcia from Manchester City. He is wanted by a lot of clubs and he could also decide to sign a new contract with the Premier League giants. Real Madrid's David De la Vibora is also on the list. The 18-year-old is considered a wonderkid and the left-back has enough potential to become one heck of a player.

Midfielders

Some nice midfielders with an expiring contract in FM21! Max Meyer for example could be a leading player for clubs outside of the top 5 competitions in Europe and could be available on a free transfer after the first season. Also interesting is Riqui Puig, who has been told in real life that he will be allowed to leave FC Barcelona. Some lesser known players are Nico (FC Barcelona) and Manuel Ugarte (Centro Atletico Fenix). They could be interesting to follow and add to your shortlist.

Attackers

Last group of players are the attackers and we have to say we are quite disappointed with the available players. We hoped to see some wonderkids, but were left some decent players instead. Player to watch is Demarai Gray. The 24-year-old was once considered as one the biggest prospects in Football Manager, but he has failed to live up to the expectations. He will most likely leave Leicester City after the first season and it will be interesting to see where he will end up.
