Sports Interactive have officially anounced Football Manager 2024 and alongside confirmed one of the most requested features to be in the game!
Nobody expected to receive any information on Football Manager 2024 this soon but Sports Interactive dropped the announcement, alongside some cool reveals on the upcoming FM24 release. And that is not it! They even gave us some information on Football Manager 2025!

FM24: Last of its kind
With that headline, SI opened the blog on their page. Does this mean Football Manager will stop to exist? Lucky for us that is not the case! It means that that Sports Interactive will massively overhaul the game for the release of FM25.
Football Manager 2024 will be the 20th game in the Football Manager series (since partnering up with SEGA) and this will be the last Football Manager as we know it.
SI will be using FM24 to close of a chapter in their history and mark the release of FM24 as a step towards a new beginning with FM25.
What to expect from FM24?
Without giving away too many on the new game, SI already revealed that FM24 will be the most complete version of the game ever. The studio confirmed that the deadline for new features was confirmed at a much earlier stage, handing the team more time to finetune the new features, whilst having enough space to fix known issues and improve usability of the game,
FM24 Key feature revealed
SI did reveal one feature for the new game and it is one very awesome one as well! It is one of the most requested features over the past 20 years and it was always believed to be impossible. But, in FM24 it will be possible to transfer a saved game from FM23 to FM24. This means players get to keep their beloved FM23 save game and play it in the new version of the game, including all the new features and new match engine.

SI then revealed that this new feature will be used in future game releases as well, making it possible to continue your FM24 save in FM25 and so on... Any possible news on reliving saves from even older versions has not been given.
What next?
