FM24 - Ligue 1 starting budgets

FMInside Oct 27, 2023 Last modified: 15 Mar 19,902 views

These are the starting transfer and wage budgets for the 18 clubs from the French Ligue 1 in Football Manager 2024. Updated for the official 24.3 winter patch.

The French Ligue 1 is still a favorite competition to play in Football Manager, despite Paris Saint-Germain dominating the league for nearly a decade now. Below the Parisians the teams are evenly matched and it is an exciting league to manage in. It is a nice league to start a long-term save and try to knock PSG off of their throne.

If we take a look at the budgets in the Ligue 1 in the 23/24 season, two clubs have the biggest transfer budgets: AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, both have 30M. Coming into third place is surprisingly Stade Rennes, who sold Jeremy Doku this summer to Manchester City and still have some of those funds left to bring in new players. The other clubs in the league do not have big transfer budgets, making it a real challenge to improve their squads during the first season. Maybe that a free transfer would help!

In this list you see below you see the 18 clubs from the French Ligue 1 in Football Manager 2024 and their starting budgets. Important to realise is that these are the budgets for the standard game mode. If you pick Real World or Your World, the budgets could be different. Also, the level of your manager has an effect on budgets and so do the objectives you select for the first season.
