Top 10 Youth Ratings in FM23

Lazy Nov 16, 2022 Last modified: 16 Nov 11,284 views

A list with the top 10 youth ratings in Football Manager 2023, including the top 5 talents for each nation.

Which countries develop te best newgens in general? The starting level of newgens is determined by a couple of criteria but the main point is the National Youth Rating of a nation in Football Manager. This is a typical FM-styled number range from 0-200, where 200 is the maximum score.

The higher the rating, the bigger the chances are that the country produces top level newgens during the years. While Sports Interactive is pretty determined to state that the Youth Rating of a nation isn't the only factor, we know better. A high youth rating does affect the starting level of newgens dramatically and it increases the chances of a high level newgen to appear in the game.

Dynamic Youth Rating

In Football Manager 2022 the dynamic youth rating was introduced. This means that the value could develop during the course of a save. Several content creators have given this a test and found out that really changing a youth rating (with +10 for example) takes a very long time and some serious work. In FM23 the dynamic youth rating has been developed, but it is still something that is very hard to change or develop in a game.
