Not sure on who to manage when the beta of Football Manager 2022 launches? Here are ten 'easy' suggestions to explore the game and new features with!

When playing the Football Manager 2022 BETA, it is always a good thing to use a team to discover the new game with. Some use their favourite team, some use one of the bigger teams. For those of you who don't have any idea on who to manage in the FM22 Beta, we have created a list with 10 potential clubs.

1. Paris Saint-Germain

For obvious reasons PSG are going to be a good choice for exploring the game during the first few weeks. With a front-three in the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe you are all set to achieve great things, making PSG a good choice to get those first hours under your belt.

2. Manchester City

Play with the champions of England and the losing finalists of the Champions League. The Citizens have one of the best teams in the world and they are great to explore both the Premier League and the rest of the game with.

3. Ajax

The Dutch giants have been improving over the last couple of years and the coronavirus pandemic has made it possible for them to keep their best players on board instead of selling them. This current Ajax team is one of the best teams they have had in years, meaning expectations are high. Ajax is good enough to challenge for the Champions League in FM22.

4. Manchester United

We all know Manchester United always have great teams in Football Manager. While the Red Devils have not won a Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, they always have great teams in FM and this will also be the case in FM22.

5. FC Barcelona

How will Barcelona play without Messi? That is a challenge for you to explore in Football Manager 2022. The Spanish giants could prove to be a fun challenge due to the poor finances of the club in real life. Let's hope Sports Interactive have given us the possibility to really build this club again from scratch, creating a new super squad.

6. Chelsea

The Blues won the Champions League last season and they are now aiming success in the Premier League. With the signing of Romelu Lukaku, they now have the striker that will score loads of goals for them. Chelsea have a fine combination of experience and talent, making them a fun club to explore the game with during the first few weeks.

7. Borussia Dortmund

They might have lost Jadon Sancho to Manchester United, but they still have Erling Haaland, Youssoufa Moukouko and Jude Bellingham. Three of the biggest wonderkids in the game. If you manage to keep these guys around, you will have an easy save to explore the game.

8. Real Madrid

After a mediocre season under Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid are ready to compete for the big trophies again this season. They have a wide range of young wonderkids, including Vinicius, Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga. Meanwhile you will be able to build a new and young defense as Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane left the club.

9. Arsenal

Remember the golden days with Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp? We do! Over the past few years Arsenal have slipped down the table in the Premier League and they can now even be considered as a 'fallen giant'. Taking on the task of bringing the Gunners back to the top four of the Premier League could be a fun challenge for the FM22 beta.

10. Internazionale

Try the champions of Italy during the beta weeks. They might have lost Romelu Lukaku, but the Nerazzurri still have a very good team! With this team you are able to concentrate on learning the game and build a tactic to use with other clubs, without having to worry about the performances.
