5 hidden gems to sign in FM21

Football Manager 2021 has a huge list of potential wonderkids. We created a shortlist with the players under 21 and we found over 3.000 players! This shows how great and how detailed the database truly is.

On this list we have collected five wonderkids who might be lesser known to the big public, but are ones you should really be checking out in the game.

1. Yusuf Demir - Rapid Wien

The 17-year-old Yusuf Demir is a smashing talent in Football Manager 2021 and he has the potential to become one of the most bought players in the game. He can play as an AMR and as a ST.

Strengths - Dribbling, Determination, Acceleration Pace.

2. Marcos Leonardo - Santos

A 17-year-old striker who plays for Santos in his home nation Brazil. He has been with the club for some years and in FM21 he has been added to the first team, which says enough about his potential. His value is €250k, which means he will be available for a cut deal in the first or secrond season. If you play with a club in Brazil he will be available for a €2m release clause.

3. Marcus Edwards - Vitoria Guimaraes

The 21-year-old Marcus Edwards plays in Portugal, a country you wouldn't be expecting a young English player to be at. He joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur in 2019 for €100k and he has developed like crazy. At the start of a new save his value is a smashing €15m. He has a contract until the summer of 2023, which makes him expensive. However, should he become available, Edwards will be a real asset for your team!

4. Wilfried Gnonto - FC Zurich

The young Italian youth international currently plays for Swiss side FC Zurich after he left Internazionale on a free transfer in the summer of 2020. Gnonto is a fast paced striker, who is also able to play as an attacking midfielder. He is only 16-years-old, which makes him an interesting player for longer saves. He is on a youth contract, meaning you will be able to sign him without agreeing a transfer fee. However, since he has only just joined Zurich he is reluctant to leave them.

5. Burak İnce - Altınordu

Last player on this list is 16-year-old Turkish sensation Burak Ince. He has developed through the youth academy at Altinordu. He is a creative midfielder who will be on his best in a playmaking role. With his vision he will be able to spot passes easily and with his technique he will not have any problems to deliver his passes.
