The 16-year-old Rafael Brito is considered as one of the biggest defensive talents from Portugal. He is also a massive talent in Football Manager 2019. We had a look at his profile and his development over 10 years.
Real Madrid are looking to younger their ageing squad and for that reason we chose to have a go at Brito in FM19 with the Spanish giants. After some bidding between the clubs, we managed to agree a deal for a 3.5m transfer fee including a 30% from profit of next sale. Awesome fee if you consider the potential this kid has.
1Rafael Brito – 2018
The 16-year-old starts in the U19 squad at Benfica and he won’t be given many chances in the first team during the first few seasons in FM19.
2Rafael Brito – 2028
After 10 seasons we see he has developed into a decent full-back, who ended up playing at Bayern Munich. He would stay at Benfica until the summer of 2025, before he was signed on by Paris Saint-Germain. Despite his 26m transfer fee, he would lose the battle at the Parisiens to a Spanish super newgen.
After a single season in Paris he left to sign for Bayern Munich. In his first season he failed to claim a spot on the first team and only managed to make 5 appearances. If we look at his career in FM19, we see he has quite a list with injuries. You will have to treat him with care if you have him on your team.
