Juan Hernandez is a talented striker from Colombia that plays is under contract at Watford, but is currently on loan at Spanish side Huesca. We take a look at the 19-year-old and see how he could develop in Football Manager 2019.
Since Juan Hernandez is on loan during the first season, it is impossible to add him to your squad. After the first season it could be quite easy to sign him as Watford will be having difficulties to get a work permit for him. We have seen him move for less than 8M, which is considered a bargain.

Juan Hernandez – 2018
Hernandez starts on loan at Huesca, who play in LaLiga. He is considered as a First Team player, so it is expected that he will get a lot of minutes. That will be good for his development as a player.
Juan Hernandez – 2028
Ten years into the game and Hernandez is labeled as an Elite Striker. Can’t say that he really is an elite striker looking at his profile, but he has developed into a nice player. The now 29-year-old spent two seasons at Huesca before returning to Watford in this save. He did manage to get a work permit and played over 50 league games for the Hornets.
He then moved to Queens Park Rangers for a €20M fee. At QPR he failed to avoid relegation in the Premier League, which made him move clubs after just one season. Russian giants Zenit picked him up in 2023 and he has been at the club from that moment on. Look at his career stats he is a regular starter and a decent goalscorer. He scores an average of 12 goals per season, which isn’t too bad. But, it is not that impressive either..
