One of the most fun things to do in Football Manager is spending money on players. We all love to search for new players and then make a transfer bid for them. How frustrating it must be when your club doesn't have a sufficient transfer budget. That is where we come in! Obviously every club and their finances will be available in the FM23 Club Database here at FMInside, but before we present you all the data, we also want to show you the clubs with the highest transfer budgets in Football Manager.
In this article we have found the 10 clubs with the highest starting transfer budgets int he game. It is important to realise that these budget can vary as you can scale your expectations and budgets in the game. However, be wary to upscale your budgets as your board will cut back your fundings if you fail to live up to these expectations.

LALAs expected the biggest budgets can be found in the English Premier League with a total of 7 clubs in the top 10 highest budgets. Real Madrid however tops the list as the Spanish giants have a whopping 120m transfer budget available. Financial powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain still is in the top 5, but their transfer budget isn't very impressive...
The same can be said of Newcastle United. Now owned by the royal family of Saudi Arabia it was expected that the Magpies would be big spenders in FM23. With a 46m budget they can spend, but we would have expected that it Newcastle would be in the top 3 budgets at least.
A transfer budget that is impressive is that of Brighton! The Seagulls had a very succesful transfer summer, making a overal profit of approximately 70m by selling Marc Cucurella to Chelsea and Yves Bissouma to Tottenham Hotspur.
And last but not least it is great to see Ajax amongst the top 10 highest budgets. The Dutch champions had yet another impressive transfer summer and managed to collect around 216m in transfers while spending a little over 100m themselves. A 35m transfer budgets makes it more than possible for Ajax to make some interesting signings in the first season of FM23.
